'He is indeed the best of animals,' replied Rat, 'So simple, so good-natured, and so affectionate. Perhaps he's not very clever - we can't all be geniuses, and it may be that he is both boastful and conceited. But he has got some great qualities, has Toady.'

Re-evolution!

This is really amazing!! There is an article about a frog who went through re-evolution!It's called the Gastrotheca guentheri frog. It is a marsupial frog so that means it has a pouch.  The article says;

A new analysis of the frog family tree reveals that the common ancestor of frogs, which long had lower-jaw teeth, lost them more than 230 million years ago before eventually going extinct.
Then 15 million years ago, they got lower teeth back! It is really so amazing! you HAVE TO READ IT!!!

national geographic.com-frogs teeth evolution science

They still dont know why the teeth came back, but I hope thay can find out.

apereantly, frogs aren't the only ones re-evolving...

In general, losing complex features is common in evolution. Humans and frogs have lost their tails, most snakes have lost limbs, and birds and turtles have lost teeth, according to the study.
But in the past eight years or so, more studies have found evidence of these advanced characteristics springing up again—for instance, wings in stick insects and fingers and toes in lizards.
  This is just VERY amazing!

Frog Fiction 3 !!!!

to see frog fiction part 1: frog fiction part one

to see frog fiction part 2: frog fiction part 2

Hello, My name is Kaeru and I am a frog. Before I tell you the rest of the story, I want to tell you a little bit about myself. I am three years old, so that means about half of my life is over. I am a male green frog and I live in a swamp. It is very warm during the summers here, and that's when my story takes place...

... I tried searching for my pond again. I wanted to see my kids one last time before I left them, probably forever! On my way I saw the huge loud creatures again, and this time, they had nets! They came twoards me and I jumped into the water. The 2 smaller creatures got out of the larger one with the nets I waited for them to leave. It got really quiet so I lifted my head out of the water.Slam! They almost caught me! I started to hop away, and then they DID catch me! they picked me up. What were they doing?!? they were going to eat me! I knew it! Suddenly they put me down with another frog. I tried to hop away but, BONK! there was an invisable wall!! I asked the other frog," where am I? what will they do to me??? AHHHHH!!!!". "calm down!", said the other frog. "they're just taking you to school. I just got released. calm down already!" "What in the world is a SCHOOL?" Before the other frog could reply, he was picked up and tossed back in to the water, WHAT WAS HAPPENING TO ME??????

Radio show

Mark: Hello and welcome to FLAG radio station! I'm Mark...
Alexa: and I'm Lexi!
both: And we are the hosts of your afternoon tunes!
Mark: as you may already know, FLAG is sponsored by Freddie's Fried Space Frog Legs! Where they don't just serve you frog legs, they serve you SPACE LEGS !
Alexa: Anyway, today is FFSFL's ( short for Freddie's Fried Space Frog Legs) 50th anniversary, and we wanted to share it with YOU!
Mark: Our radio station's name, FLAG, stands for Frog Legs Are Good. It was named that, of course, because FFSFL is all about frog legs!
Alexa:  Ever since 1961, in fact! FLAG hasn't been around quite that long, but we have been cheering FFSFL on all the way starting in 1995.
Mark: Here at FLAG, we are very proud of Freddie's Fried Space Frog Legs, and its history. From 1961, when the restaurant was just a stand on the street corner, to today, when we serve up to 5,000,000 people per day!
Alexa: So that's why we've decided to allow callers to ask us any questions about FFSFL's history.
Mark: We will start taking callers now.
Caller #1: Hi, is this FLAG?
Mark: yes it is, what is your  question?
Caller #1:  Who was the person who created FFSFL?
Alexa: Freddie M. Space, Of course! Born in 1930, Freddie was always good at cooking, but in 1961, he really made it good! Serving up his special spacey frog legs gave him GREAT!
Mark: Ok, thanks for calling! Next caller!
caller #2: Hi, Is this Mike's Pizza?
Alexa: I think you might have the wrong number...
Caller #2: Yeah, Can I have a double cheese pizza, a large soda...
Alexa: this is a RADIO STATION, not a pizza place..
Caller #2: and could I have some garlic sauce, OH! and put sausage on the pizza too!
Mark: YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER DUDE! HANG UP!
caller #2: WHAT? This ISN'T Mike's Pizza?!?! WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME?!?! *click! BEEEEEEEEPPPPP!!!!*
Alexa: Well..... that was strange, well, lets take our next caller, shall we?
Caller #3:  WHY are you so proud of MURDERING FROGS?????
Alexa: Mu-murdering f-f-frogs?
Caller #3: Yes! Frogs are EXTREMELY close to being extinct, and you sit here, BRAGING about how many people you serve? what's 5,000,000 times 4? THATS how many frogs you kill a DAY!
Mark: How dare y-
caller #3: How dare I WHAT? tell the truth? I have a message for everyone out there listening;
NEVER eat at FFSFL again! In fact, never eat frog legs again! that is all I have to say. *click! BEEEEEEEP!*
Alexa: Welll... ummmm.... TIMEFORANHOUROFTUNESSPONSEREDBYFFSFL!BYE!
